A highly efficient computer controlled system ensures accurate monitoring and traceability of products. A virtually paperless system (EDI – electronic data exchange) controls the movement of stock as it enters and leaves our facility. This enables us to provide customers with highly accurate, real time inventory information.
With a cold storage capacity of 2.5 million cu. ft, Interfrigo Ltd is large enough to cope with the requirements of large, demanding customers and flexible enough to deal with the needs of smaller customers. Continuous investment in innovative systems enables us to provide immediate access to accurate data.
Efficient plant & machineryBack
Through the use of modern blast freezing facilities and mobile racking systems, maximum use is made of storage space. The refrigeration plants are the most efficient available, running on energy saving lines with continuous computer monitoring. Refrigerated docks and an energetic team of cold storage professionals ensure a quick turnaround, maximising efficiency and minimising damage and waste.
We have recently invested in a new 1175 kva Caterpillar generator with automatic switchgear. Should there be a power cut, the generator will cut in immediately and will switch off when power is restored.
All cold store chambers’ temperatures are computer controlled, which prevents temperature fluctuations. We can offer customers a secure temperature controlled environment for short and long term storage of their frozen goods.

Interfrigo’s expertise, built up over the years has established a range of services across a wide range of food types from ready meals to bulk products including meat products and dairy products.
We take pride in evolving with the industries we serve. We are committed to doing whatever is necessary to help our customers prosper by being flexible, accessible and efficient.
We are also able to offer an ‘order picking’ service for supermarkets whereby local suppliers deliver their goods to Interfrigo to be sorted. It is later dispatched to supermarkets. A load can be turned around within two hours, as it is computer automated process.

As a company, we firmly believe in putting our customers’ needs first. In an increasing competitive market, we are dedicated to maximising customer satisfaction by striving for an unrivalled service. We believe that when it comes to handling and storing a wide range of goods, the following aspects are critical for success:
• Premium facilities: Our premises are approved by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), the European Commission and HM Customs and Excise.
• Flexibility: We can store anything from one pallet to thousands of pallets within secure warehousing for long or short term storage. We work with a wide variety of customers across many sectors of industry including food and dairy.
• Accessibility: Customers can remotely access up-to-date, real-time reports of stock held in our cold stores through a free facility which can be set up on their PC free of charge (provided the customer has a compatible PC). By maintaining a constant dialogue with our customers, we are able to match our service with their precise requirements.
• Reliability: If there is a power cut, Interfrigo has its own generator which would cut in immediately allowing the temperatures in the cold stores to be unaffected.
• Security: Fully alarmed warehouse with through the night surveillance on site. CCTV is also in operation.
• Experience: Dedicated, trained & committed workforce on site. We offer a seven day a week, around the clock security and ensure that all product held by us is handled in an appropriate manner.
• Extensive Space: 20,000 sq ft of high bay quality racked cold storage space. Large yards for articulated vehicles.
• Just in time: Pallet holding facilities for urgent call offs.
